## Meaning

A small amount of something. You can also use it before an adjective or verb to mean 'slightly' or 'a little'.

## Examples

- I am a bit tired today.
- The soup is a bit salty, but I still think it tastes very good.
- Although the new policy is a bit controversial, the board believes it will improve efficiency in the long run.
