## Meaning

A small amount of something, or to a small degree. You can have 'a little food' or feel 'a little tired'.

## Examples

- I would like a little sugar in my coffee.
- The soup is a little too salty, but it still tastes quite good.
- Although he felt a little hesitant at first, he eventually agreed to join the project because he believed in the mission.
