## Meaning

a very short period of time. You use this when you want to say something will happen soon or won't take long.

## Examples

- Please wait a moment or two while I find my keys.
- The doctor will be with you in a moment or two, so please have a seat in the waiting room.
- After a moment or two of tense silence, the speaker cleared his throat and finally addressed the expectant crowd.
