## Meaning

A phrase you use to say you think something is true, but you are not 100% sure. It's a way to give an opinion without sounding too strong.

## Examples

- I guess it is going to rain later.
- I guess we should leave now if we want to arrive before the traffic gets bad.
- While the evidence remains inconclusive, I guess that the proposed solution will eventually prove to be the most effective strategy.
