## Meaning

You use this to say you have the ability or skill to do something. It is almost always followed by 'to' and a verb, like 'I know how to swim'.

## Examples

- I know how to fix this broken chair.
- She has worked in the kitchen for years, so she certainly knows how to cook a perfect meal.
- Although the task seemed impossible at first, he eventually discovered he knew how to navigate the complex system with ease.
