## Meaning

you use this to say that a situation has changed and something that used to happen has stopped.

## Examples

- I do not live there any longer.
- She used to work at the bank, but she does not work there any longer because she found a new job.
- The old factory, which once provided jobs for the entire town, does not operate any longer following the recent economic downturn.
