## Meaning

traveling toward a place or happening soon. You use this when you are currently moving to a destination or when something is expected to arrive.

## Examples

- I am on the way to your house now.
- Please start the meeting without me because I am on the way and will arrive in ten minutes.
- Although the shipment was delayed by the storm, the company confirmed that the replacement parts are finally on the way to the warehouse.
