## Meaning

To have no more of something left. You use this when you have used all of something, like sugar or coffee, and now there is none.

## Examples

- We are out of milk for your coffee.
- I went to the kitchen to make breakfast, but we were completely out of eggs.
- The shopkeeper apologized to the customers, explaining that they were unfortunately out of the popular item due to a supply chain delay.
