## Meaning

A simple way to say that some time has passed. You use it to show how much time went by between two events in a story.

## Examples

- Three days later, the package finally arrived.
- She sent the email on Monday, and two days later, she received a helpful reply.
- After the initial storm passed, ten days later, the villagers emerged from their homes to assess the damage to the fields.
