## Definition

just starting to happen or being born. You use this to describe something that is in its very early stages of development.

For teachers: in the process of being born or coming into existence; in the early stages of development. Often used in the phrase 'in its infancy'.

## Examples

- The new technology is still in its aborning stages.
- The young startup was struggling to survive as it was still in its aborning phase and lacked a clear business model.
- While the concept of digital privacy was once a niche concern, it is now in its aborning as a global regulatory priority, reshaping how companies handle user data.
