For teachers: in a shortened or condensed form. Often used to describe the presentation of information or the publication of a text.

## Examples

- The author wrote an abridgedly version of the novel for young readers.
- The report was presented abridgedly to the board, focusing only on the most urgent financial concerns.
- While the full manuscript spans several hundred pages, the abridgedly version allows the general public to grasp the core argument without being overwhelmed by the supporting data.
