## Definition

to be filled to the very top with something. You use this when a container or a place has so much of something that it is about to spill over.

For teachers: to be filled to the brim or to the point of overflowing. Often used in the passive voice to describe a state of extreme saturation.

## Examples

- The small boat was abrim with water.
- The local library was abrim with people on the first day of the summer reading program.
- The valley was abrim with wildflowers following the spring rains, creating a vibrant tapestry of color across the hillsides.
