## Definition

the most extreme or silly version of something. You use this to describe a situation or idea that is completely ridiculous and makes no sense.

For teachers: the most extreme or nonsensical instance of a particular quality or situation. Often used to describe a state of affairs that defies logic or reason.

## Examples

- The movie is the absurdest comedy I have ever seen.
- The politician's latest speech was the absurdest attempt to explain why he missed the meeting.
- In a world where logic is often ignored, the absurdest of human behaviors can sometimes be the most rational response to a chaotic environment.
