## Definition

to burst out suddenly. You use this when something happens very quickly and with a lot of energy.

For teachers: to burst forth suddenly or violently. Often used in literary or poetic contexts to describe a sudden release of emotion or physical force.

## Examples

- The sun aburst through the clouds as the storm passed.
- The crowd aburst into cheers when the team scored the winning goal.
- The dam aburst during the heavy rains, sending a massive wave of water rushing down the valley and destroying everything in its path.
