## Definition

happening very quickly or at a much faster speed than usual. You use this when something speeds up suddenly.

For teachers: at an increased or hastened rate; in a manner that speeds up a process or movement.

## Examples

- The car acceleratedly moved away from the curb.
- The project was completed acceleratedly due to the team's urgent deadline and the use of advanced technology.
- While the initial phase of the experiment was slow, the results began to change acceleratedly once the temperature reached a critical threshold, leading to a rapid conclusion.
