## Definition

the quality of being easy to reach or use. It describes how well a place, a tool, or a service is designed for everyone, including people with disabilities.

For teachers: the degree to which a system, location, or service is open to or usable by a particular person or group. Often used in technical or social contexts to describe the ease of entry or the inclusivity of design.

## Examples

- The new website has great accessability for users with screen readers.
- The city council is improving the accessability of public parks by installing ramps and wider pathways for wheelchair users.
- While the software is technically functional, its lack of accessability features makes it nearly impossible for users with visual impairments to navigate the interface independently.
