## Definition

to record the time you arrive at or leave work using an automatic machine. You use this when you want to describe the physical act of clocking in or out.

For teachers: to record one's arrival or departure time at a workplace, typically by inserting a card into a time clock. Primarily used in Australian and New Zealand English; often appears in the phrase 'to bundy on' or 'to bundy off'.
