## Definition

completely used up or empty. You use this when something is finished and there is nothing left to use.

For teachers: exhausted of its contents or utility; completely spent. Often used in informal contexts to describe a supply that has been depleted.

- After the long holiday weekend, our supply of snacks was completely cashed.
