## Definition

a short way of saying 'come on'. You use it to tell someone to hurry up, to encourage them, or to show that you do not believe what they are saying.

For teachers: a colloquial contraction of the phrasal verb 'come on', used to express encouragement, impatience, or skepticism. Typically appears in informal written representations of speech.
