## Definition

a medical test where a doctor looks inside your large intestine using a long, flexible tube with a camera. It is used to check for health problems like cancer or inflammation.

For teachers: a medical procedure involving the insertion of a flexible endoscope into the rectum to examine the interior of the colon and rectum. Often performed for diagnostic or screening purposes, particularly for colorectal cancer.
