## Definition

to be very attracted to or in love with someone or something. You use this when you are so interested in a person, place, or idea that you cannot stop thinking about it.

For teachers: to be deeply infatuated with or strongly attracted to someone or something. Often used in the passive voice to describe a state of intense fascination.
