## Definition

a person who is very attractive or good-looking. It is a casual word you might use with friends when talking about someone you find handsome or beautiful.

For teachers: a person perceived as being very sexually attractive. Highly informal and colloquial; typically used in social contexts to express physical attraction.

## Examples

- Everyone at the party thought the new guy was a total hottie.
- She pointed out a hottie across the room, but her friend was too shy to go over and talk to him.
