## Definition

feeling tired and uninterested in things because you have seen or experienced too much of them. You use this when someone has lost their excitement or hope.

For teachers: feeling or showing a lack of enthusiasm or interest, typically as a result of having experienced too much of something. Often used to describe a state of emotional exhaustion or cynicism.
