## Definition

a specific place where people agree to find each other. You use it when you are traveling in a group so no one gets lost.

For teachers: a prearranged location where two or more people intend to gather or connect. Often used in the context of tourism, logistics, or emergency planning.

## Examples

- Let's use the clock tower as our meeting point.
- If we lose each other in the busy market, please return to the fountain which is our designated meeting point.
- In accordance with safety protocols, all staff members must assemble at the primary meeting point in the north parking lot immediately following a fire alarm.

## Usage notes

- Commonly used with the prepositions 'at' or 'by'.
