## Definition

the numbers inside an AI model that tell it how much importance to give to different pieces of information. You can think of them as the 'memory' or 'knowledge' the computer has learned from its training.

For teachers: the numerical parameters within a neural network that determine the strength of the connection between nodes. These values are adjusted during the training process to minimize error and represent the learned patterns of the model.
