## Definition

a very easy win in a game or competition where one team is much better than the other. It is a casual way to say that one side won by a lot of points.

For teachers: a decisive and often lopsided victory in a sporting contest. Informal in register; frequently used in journalistic contexts to describe a dominant performance.
