a short way of writing 'sequence' or 'following'. You mostly see this in formal lists or legal papers to show that more pages or sections follow.

For teachers: an abbreviation for 'sequens' or 'sequentes', meaning 'the following one' or 'the following ones'. Used in citations to refer to a specific page or section and those that immediately follow it.
