## Definition

the last and most important part of something. You use this when you want to say that something is the final step or the most important thing to do.

For teachers: the final or most significant part of a sequence or process. Often used in informal contexts to indicate the most critical action or the final stage of a plan.

## Examples

- I need to finish the ult before I can leave.
- After completing the first two steps of the project, the team focused on the ult to ensure the final product was perfect.
- The ult of the negotiation was not the signing of the contract, but the mutual agreement to respect each other's cultural differences moving forward.
