Usage

usually followed by a noun or a gerund (-ing form) to specify the field of expertise.

Teaching tip

contrast with 'experience with' (often used for tools or specific people) and 'experience of' (often used for a single life event); 'in' is the standard for professional fields.

Pitfall

I have many experiences in teaching.I have much experience in teaching.when referring to professional skill, 'experience' is uncountable and should not be pluralized.
