This phrase is used without a preposition; say 'see you next week', not 'see you on next week'.

Teaching tip

Contrast with 'the following week', which is used in reported speech or narrative to refer to the week after a specific point in time (e.g., 'He arrived on Monday. The following week, he left.').

Pitfall

I will call you on next week.I will call you next week.Time expressions with 'next', 'last', 'this', and 'every' do not use prepositions like 'on', 'in', or 'at'.
