Usage

Almost always followed by the preposition 'to'. When used to attribute a statement, it is typically placed at the beginning of a sentence or after the main clause.

Pitfall

According to me, this is wrong.In my opinion, this is wrong.English speakers rarely use 'according to' for their own opinions; 'in my opinion' or 'I think' is the standard choice.
